A Message From Your Pastor

Good Morning, Calvary,

I wanted to reach out and thank you all for such a wonderful time on Sunday! Your confidence and support in calling us to pastor you all is such a blessing! Kim and I left feeling incredibly excited for all that the Lord has in store as we embark on this new adventure together!

Every step of this process has been marked by your grace, patience, kindness, and encouragement. These qualities are a beautiful reflection of the fruit of the Spirit at work in our church family. We cannot thank you enough for the hospitality and love you have shown us. Your prayers have been such a blessing to us—thank you!

Here are a few specific ways you can be praying for us over the next couple of weeks:

  • Our home: We are working quickly to get our house on the market this week. Please pray that it sells quickly so we can make the move to Pampa as soon as possible.
  • Kim's new job: Kim has been hired by Pampa ISD and will begin on August 10. Please pray for God's favor and for a smooth transition as she starts this new chapter.
  • Our boys: Our sons and their girlfriends all left wanting to move to Pampa to be part of what the Lord is doing—and what we believe He is preparing to do. If anyone knows of job opportunities in the Pampa area, they are actively looking.
  • Our church family in Katy: Some of our church family already knows about this transition and has been faithfully praying for us throughout the process. Over the next few days, we will be sharing the news with the rest of the congregation. This is a bittersweet season, as we are leaving during a time of growth and health. Kim and I had the privilege of launching this campus, and for many people here, this has been their first church home. Many came to know Christ during our time together. Please pray that over the next couple of weeks we can cast a compelling vision for the future, finish well, and leave the church in a strong position for what God has next. We trust that the Lord will remain faithful to His promise, that "He who began a good work... will carry it on to completion" (Philippians 1:6).

Please know that you are also in our prayers during these next few weeks.

We look forward to being with you as soon as possible!

With gratitude,

Jeff and Kim
