D3 Discipleship Groups

D3 are discipleship groups designed to help grow the believer in an understanding of Scripture and help them the learn how to be a disciple of Jesus. These groups consist of up to 3 learners and 1 facilitator. These are dedicated groups of people who, once they have finished the 32 week course, agree to continue in discipleship by leading a D3 group.

Our D3 groups are seeking to fulfill Christ's final charge to His disciples in Matthew 28, where Jesus reveals that, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

D3's purpose is to "make disciples that make disciples" and to reach our community and world with the Gospel.

This is how D3 Works:

Scripture Reading

D3 members will read one chapter of the New Testament each day, for 5 days during the week. Following their daily reading, they will pick one section of Scripture to Highlight, Explain, Apply, and Respond to.

Scripture memory

D3 members will commit to memorizing one passage of Scripture each week that is given to them in the D3 Bible Reading Plan. Memorizing Scripture helps us to hide the Word of God in our hearts

Multiply Book

Each week, D3 members will read one chapter of the book "Multiply" by David Platt and Francis Chan, which will be discussed at the Weekly Meeting. The book can be purchased or downloaded for free here.

Weekly Meeting

On a preselected day, time, and location, each D3 group will meet and discuss what they have learned, share their Scripture memorization, pray with and for each other, and hold one another accountable to their commitment.
